What are the powers of mistletoe? And those of this pendant?
The two answers are actually closely related.
Mistletoe is a plant associated with the oak and, as such, had particular meaning for the Druids of the Celtic tradition.
A branch of mistletoe was actually something very sacred, and was used as an ingredient in certain protective rituals.
While the oak was seen as the king of the forest, the one who dominates nature and therefore the world, the druids noticed that only mistletoe could grow freely on it.
They therefore concluded that he necessarily had links with certain forces, certain subtle energies to which ordinary mortals do not have access.
If you ask us, they were right.
Anyone with a minimum of sensitivity will agree that, yes, mistletoe does have certain powers.
This is also one of the main reasons which should push you to wear this ring...
In short, Celtic sages began to gather mistletoe during highly codified religious ceremonies.
A priest dressed in white clothes climbed the tree and, with a golden sickle, cut off some branches of the precious plant: this comic scene is actually not that far from reality.
Between legend and historical fact, mistletoe will undoubtedly remain an enigma for a long time to come.
