What meaning does this Jewish symbol carry?
Chai is a popular Jewish lucky charm for creating jewelry and accessories.
As is often the case in Judaism, there are several ways to interpret this symbol.
Already, the word “Chai” literally translates as “life” or “living”.
This is a strong marker which shows us the first message to remember: Chai symbolizes above all a strong link to life, this life that the Lord has offered us.
When we look at it more closely we actually see that this lucky charm is made up of two Hebrew letters attached to each other, namely Chet (ח) and Yud (י).

Finally, we can interpret Chai through numerology. (certain esoteric branches of Judaism indeed rely on this tool.)
