Concretely, what does this thousand-armed Guan Yin amulet represent?

To put it simply, we could describe this figure as the Chinese deity of mercy and compassion. .. two most important values.

Guan Yin (also known to Indians as Avalokitesvara) is a major bodhisattva. This term represents a Buddha before he experienced nirvana.

According to legend, Guan Yin is a woman whose life was marked by a simply exceptional kindness towards her fellow human beings. She led a life so just and right that the universe decided to grant him access to total spiritual awakening.

Considering he had better things to do by remaining on earth helping other men lead a righteous life, Guan Yin refused this exceptional offer. This explains why she continues to bear the title of bodhisattva even today. In any case, since that day, she has been venerated by spiritual movements such as Buddhism, but also feng shui.

Indeed, a woman who refuses such a gift to help men who struggle with pain and suffering on Earth is certainly an exceptional being.

Let us also point out that, if it is sometimes represented in the form of "thousand arms", it is in reality not to show us its appearance, but rather to send us a message. Indeed, Guan Yin Bodhisattva has the ability to penetrate the hearts of thousands of people at once.

Truly, his powers are grandiose.

This amulet is therefore given a spiritual, even esoteric character. Some wear it as a prayer, asking Quan Yin to offer us his help.
