And so, this Pi Xiu bracelet in obsidian, who does it represent?
According to legend, thousands of years ago, in ancient China, there existed a dragon named Pi Xiu.
The latter one day broke, out of pure greed, a sacred pact he had made with the great-grandfather of the Emperor of China.
As punishment, the monarch had the sorcerers of her court cast a spell on him. From that day on, Pi Xiu could only eat gold. This might seem like a blessing at first, but don't be fooled.
To make matters worse, the dragon's anus was sealed by the spell. He was therefore condemned to eternally fill himself with gold, a heavy and dense material, it did not take long for his stomach to become deformed. This therefore meant eternal suffering for him.
Since then, the Chinese people see it as a good luck charm bringing material wealth. Particularly powerful, this symbol carries with it a price to pay: anyone who uses the money they earn to do evil will suffer the same fate as Pi Xiu.
