But in fact, what does the symbol on this pendant represent?
The Wheel of Dharma, also known as Dharmachakra or Wheel of Law, is one of the many symbols brought to us by the religions of Asia.
In the Buddhist faith, the Dharma Wheel is considered one of the purest representations of the Buddha's mind, and has therefore served as an emblem of that faith.
The meaning it takes in Hinduism refers more to the concept of reincarnation, representing life as a cycle (through the shape of the wheel) that it is possible to break (by taking the branches that go towards the center).
Jainism sees the wheel of Dharma in a similar way, with the added notion of a great harmonious cosmic order (this lucky symbol is in fact perfectly symmetrical and regular).
In any case, it is normal that this symbol is very present in India: the main religions practiced there consider the wheel of Dharma to be highly sacred.
We therefore find this mystical symbol painted on temples, altars and monasteries all over the country.
This use, however, is neither trivial nor folkloric: the presence of the wheel of Dharma seems to place us at very particular vibrational levels.
In Tibet too, this symbol occupies a particular role: it is one of the “auspicious eight”, eight lucky figures used in local Buddhism.
In the end, everything we have just said converges on one point: this pendant of the wheel of Dharma certainly contains something powerful, perhaps even something divine.
