But actually, what is this Celtic knot of infinity?

In Celtic art, we designate by “knot” geometric patterns nested within each other, without a clearly distinguishable beginning or end. They began to appear around the 6th century BCE, a period when the spirituality and religion of the Celts underwent some evolution.

As with so many things handed down by our elders, it is not easy to discover the true meaning of Celtic knots in general. In fact, the Celts were not great writers and transmission was mainly done orally. Over the years, things have naturally tended to become more complex.

For the Celtic lucky charm that you see here on the other hand, it is rather easy to discover its meaning!

With its lines that wind, weave and tangle, the Celtic knot of infinity appears to us as a long strand without beginning or end which comes and goes on itself. This particular design makes it carry the message of infinity (obviously, you might say), but also of eternal life and everything that is “total”.

As such, some lovers once exchanged this type of ring to symbolize their absolute love for each other.

This might all seem a little light to us. It is not so.

Many of those who have felt this ring on their finger and who have sought to understand its powers have spoken to us of a feeling of serenity, of a kind of new knowledge that soothes.

In short, this ring of a Celtic infinity knot is the expression of the great pagan wisdom of the Celts, but also a sign of the love we have for those who are dear to us.
