But actually, what is so special about the peacock?

The peacock is undoubtedly the most beautiful bird in the world, and very clearly the most majestic.

Throughout time, its flamboyant colors have captured our eyes, awakening our senses and our curiosity.

In ancient Greece, the peacock was the favorite bird of the goddess Hera. According to a legend, she would have placed “eyes” on her feathers, bringing to those who can see through some of her great wisdom and eternal knowledge.

In ancient India, peacocks were worshiped for their extraordinary beauty. They were often left free in the gardens of princes, believed to function as a good luck charm bringing luck and prosperity to their owners.

Certain Hindu deities are sometimes depicted riding a peacock. It is beautiful, it's true, but not only that: this animal would also be magical.

In Buddhism, peacock feathers are seen as powerful tools for opening oneself (in the general sense). Indeed, the bird shows a certain openness when it unfolds the beautiful colored feathers of its tail.

The ancient people of Europe believed that the flesh of the peacock did not rot once the animal died, which also made it a great lucky symbol of immortality. Later, this idea was taken up by the Christian religion which linked this animal to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

By the characteristic eye shape that the pattern of its feathers takes, the peacock was necessarily also associated with clairvoyance, visions and prophecies of all kinds.

Whether this is a reality or not, the fact is that many esoteric traditions consider these feathers to be particularly powerful tools...

As varied as they are, these elements in any case show us the same thing: the peacock has something special that it would be stupid to miss.
