The lucky sand rose is actually a gypsum stone (i.e. calcium sulfate) that has crystallized over several million years.
It is in the Sahara Desert, and in particular in Morocco, that we find the most.
As there is no vegetation in desert areas, nature has adapted to fill this void. With the lucky sand rose, she was able to transform a stone into a real flower!
