Serenity is the result of living life in the right way, a mental state that we experience when everything around us is in balance, in harmony.
Because serenity is part of virtuous circles, where it brings us happiness and a more peaceful life, things which bring us more serenity, and so on... Today we are going to put ourselves in this state of peace of soul so that our daily lives become clearer.
Linked to calm and inner peace, serenity can be achieved through simple relaxation and relaxation exercises. We are going to practice some of them today through this guided meditation.

The effects of this meditation
Inner peace corresponds to a state of calm of the mind and appeasement of the soul. This state is sought by many spiritual doctrines which, through prayer or meditation, attempt to transmit it to their practitioners.
Today is a simple guided meditation which, in all its modesty, will try to introduce you to serenity.
When a being manages to achieve it, many changes take place in his life. For example, we can cite:
- Increased discernment abilities
- Ease of defining your objectives
- Less fear in the face of difficulties
- An ease in putting evil into perspective…
- …and another to sublimate the good
- Easier access to happiness
- Less daily stress and annoyance
This meditation for serenity and inner peace will thus function as a compass, a compass that shows you a path to follow to live better, more calmly and more accurately.
In fact, peaceful people are better equipped in life. Their problems remain small and when a crisis arises, they know how to handle it. Truly, inner peace and serenity are two states that are self-nourishing through processes of virtuous circles that are more than interesting.
Preparing for meditation for serenity and inner peace
Sit comfortably, on a chair, sofa or bed… and take a straight posture.
Anchor your straight feet in the ground, and place them more or less hip-width apart. Place your knees just above your ankles, and relax your leg muscles. If you feel tense, you can already practice some self-massage exercises to relax the area around your knees.
Straighten your spine by placing your head as high as possible, as if an invisible thread at the top of your skull was pulling you upwards. You should not strain and should be able to easily maintain the posture. This is not a gymnastics or stretching exercise.
In short, then roll your shoulders a few times and place them in a pleasant position, while keeping your back straight.
Tuck your chin in a little, and voilà, you are ready to begin this guided meditation for peace and serenity.
The different stages of this guided meditation
These different stages are actually supposed to follow each other harmoniously, rather than being cut into separate parts.
After all, this guided meditation forms a whole constructed as a single work, a single tool capable of functioning in its uniqueness.
In video and audio, no distinction is made.
The following breakdown therefore has the sole purpose of helping you, a posteriori, to understand the modes of action implemented within the framework of this meditation.
Step #1: calm through breathing
Breathing is a wonderful relaxation tool. We will now use it to calm your body, but also your mind.
With each inhale, I will count to 6, you will then hold your breath while I count to 4, then breathe for another 4 counts.
We will repeat this cycle 5 times in total. So let's get started.

Well, with this exercise, you have come a long way towards inner peace. Other tools are also available to us, and now that you are in this state of calm, we can use them to their maximum effectiveness.
Step #2: Visualization Exercise 1
Humans have this extraordinary ability to visualize things in our minds. These mental images that we create have a real effect on us, on our mind and our well-being.
We will now use visualization to cultivate your serenity.
Start by closing your eyes. Feel your breath.
As you calm down, it slows down…and gets deeper and deeper.
Feel your breath, which with each inhalation brings in an air full of freshness... which warms up within you, then comes out when you exhale.
When I tell you, you will fill your lungs with a deep inspiration, which brings you energy and vitality. Rather, with exhalation, you release stress, toxins, and negativity that your body can accumulate over time.
Inhale. Exhale.
The world is made of invisible energy that animates us all. Ki, prana, ether… many traditions describe this same reality in their own way.
This energy is precisely the one that soothes you with each breath, the one that cleanses you.
Try to visualize it circulating within you with each breath, as if a luminous fluid was being exchanged with your external environment... with the world.
Inhale. Exhale.
Inhale. Exhale.
This vital force brings you calm, peace and serenity. It rebalances and chases away unnecessary tensions... because it is true, it is genuine.
Inhale. Exhale.
Inhale. Exhale.
Step #2: Visualization Exercise 2
It is very good.
We will now practice a second visualization exercise, this time more linked to imagination.
Try to imagine a door. It can be any size and material you want. This is your door, which you imagine in your mind.
Behind this door is a magnificent landscape, a breathtaking view where there is the sea, a beach and beautiful trees. Nature expresses itself at its most beautiful. A truly heavenly setting, a place we all want to be.
You open this door to access this landscape, to see it, to discover it, to contemplate it.
With the door open, pleasant rays of sunshine come to caress your skin, like a waterfall of light that illuminates you and makes you feel good.
This sun relaxes your muscles, all the muscles in your body, and makes you feel good. It relieves tension and soothes.
In reality, this energy is the same as the breathing exercise we practiced a few moments ago.
Step #3: autosuggestion of inner peace
With each breath, contemplate the magnificent view, the majestic splendor of this landscape.
With each breath, now say, “I am at peace,” while contemplating the scene.
You can say it out loud, or in your head.
Repeat it a few more times.
I am at peace.
You are now breathing peacefully and feeling great inner peace.
With each breath, the image of the heavenly landscape gradually fades, but the feeling of well-being and serenity remains.
So take a few moments to enjoy this great relaxation, and come back to your senses. Come back to yourself, to your thoughts.
Listen to this gentle music, which helps you wake up, to awaken you.
Step #4: end of meditation and congratulations
Congratulations.
You have just cultivated inner peace, literally. A new serenity has just grown within you, and it can grow further... and grow... until it helps you live more serenely.
You are now stronger and will be able to better cope with everyday challenges.
Notice how calm you feel.
If you haven't already, you can now open your eyes.
By reaching this state of peace that you have just experienced, you have just proven to yourself that you can get there, that it is indeed possible to live with more serenity.
