The effects of this meditation

We all want to be confident in ourselves.

Our self-esteem is an essential component of our life. It defines our relationship with others and the world, but above all our inner well-being.

Please note, this is not about cultivating pride, but simply a right love of self, a kindness that we should all have towards ourselves, but which some have unfortunately lost.

With a lack of self-confidence, it is impossible to achieve happiness. True self-esteem is the ability to look calmly at trials or the past, to face the future with joy and to live the present as intensely as possible. Correct esteem will allow us to fit harmoniously into the universe and share more easily with others.

Truly, this is an essential character trait to cultivate.

However, certain worries and difficulties can close our hearts and lower our self-confidence. When we think too much about our problems, we tend to become pessimistic and see everything in a gloomy way. Meditation will be of great help here because, by anchoring us in the present, it will allow us to forget (at least for a while) our daily worries.

In particular, any practice aimed at promoting your self-confidence will keep you away from the consequences of low self-esteem. In this regard, we can cite things like:

  • An inability to learn from our experiences
  • Great irritability, aggressive nervousness
  • The presence of intrusive, judgmental or simply negative thoughts
  • An acceleration of the effects of aging
  • Sleep problems, and brain fog when we are awake
  • And many more

To regain self-confidence, overcome shyness and dare to speak up or simply to know how to take risks: this meditation will increase your level of confidence without you having to leave your comfort zone.

Preparing for meditation for self-confidence

Having good posture radically changes our mental state. Body language tells others how we feel, but also tells our subconscious. Without going into detail, real virtuous circle processes can result. So keep this advice in mind for your daily life.

In any case, for this meditation, I advise you to simply sit on a chair, anchor your feet firmly in the ground, straighten your spine while keeping it relaxed (a bit as if you wanted to reach the sky) and inflate the torso slightly.

By bringing out the chest, we demonstrate a desire to exist in our environment, which is already a step towards greater self-confidence.

The different steps

These different stages are actually supposed to follow each other harmoniously, rather than being cut into separate parts.

After all, this guided meditation forms a whole constructed as a single work, a single tool capable of functioning in its uniqueness.

In video and audio, no distinction is made.

The following breakdown therefore has the sole purpose of helping you, a posteriori, to understand the modes of action implemented within the framework of this meditation.

Step #1: Relaxation and Relaxation

Inhale deeply through your nose, and blow out through your mouth.

Let the air enter you and relax you.

Release the tensions accumulated with each exhalation, and take in new energy with each inhalation, an energy that is calm and full of serenity.

Inhale. Exhale, and let the tensions go.

Inhale. Exhale, and let the tensions go.

Step #2: Visualization of a staircase

Now try to imagine a staircase in front of you, a staircase going down.

With each step you went down, you felt a little more relaxed. You can think of it as the staircase to relaxation.

Imagine going down one step, and then another, and another.

You are becoming calmer and calmer.

Continue to descend, step by step, towards relaxation, downward.

A walk, then another, and a deeper and deeper relaxation.

Step #3: Visualizing a Door

You arrive near the end of the stairs. A few steps ahead of you is a wooden door.

Visualize the door. Always in relaxation.

Behind this door lies a heavenly natural landscape. Imagine your favorite place. The beach, the mountain.

On your next exhale, open that door with all your might.

Step #4: Visualization of a sun

A bright sun shines in this idyllic place. It creates a pleasant, enveloping warmth. Its rays caress your skin and warm it. A big shining sun, a kind sun.

This sun is in you, it is the warm and pleasant wave of love that you know how to create. You deserve this positive energy. It's your inner magic.

Step #5: Positive thoughts

I will now say a few sentences, a few affirmations. You can listen to them, but you can just as easily concentrate on your breathing, or on the warmth of the sun present within you. It's whatever you want, it's your choice.

I choose to be active in my life.

Great power lies within me.

I have the capacity to love.

I grow every day.

I'm going to enjoy the present moment.

I love and accept myself completely.

I accept past mistakes without judging them.

I am my body, and I will take care of it.

I create my luck, and my happiness.

I will use tomorrow's trials to become stronger.

Step #6: Wake up

It is very good. I will now count to 5 to help you regain your senses. As the countdown continues, the image of the sun, the landscape and the staircase will disappear, and you will regain all awareness of your surroundings.

Other guided meditations in our series

Having self-confidence is a long process that covers several facets. We can of course think of coaching sessions, self-hypnosis or even personal development work. We must also become aware of the importance of compliments, negative thoughts... and certain tools!

Among the many objects that we offer to our community, we have notably collected some meditation tools.

Here is the collection in question, made up of objects from cultures from the four corners of the world but sharing the same goal: to help the practice of meditation or, quite simply, relaxation and relaxation.

In short, you will find singing bowls, various musical instruments, flags and decorations, reiki pendulums and even certain ingredients and crystals.

Here is also a collection of free books that may help you in your life. Between healthy eating, self-hypnosis, prayers and self-confidence, many themes are covered in our library which, once again, has been entirely open to you.

If you would like to discover our other meditations, here is the section of our blog which brings them all together.

Here too, we wanted to deal with the most varied themes possible (within the limits of our knowledge, of course).

If, however, you do not find what you are looking for there, do not hesitate to tell us by leaving a comment in the section at the end of one of the meditations: we will read it and try to take it into account in our future work. !
