This bracelet decorated with the Valknut... what will it bring me?

The Valknut is undoubtedly one of the most enigmatic symbols left to us by the Vikings.

Found countless times on runestones, weapons and jewelry in Scandinavia, its meaning remains a mystery (although some hypotheses have been put forward).

The name Valknut itself does not have its source among the Vikings: it is in fact a fairly recent Norwegian word formed from the two roots “valr” (killed) and “knut” (knot). Thus, the Valknut is literally the “knot of slain warriors”.

In all likelihood, this would therefore be a lucky symbol linked to death or, at least, to the afterlife.

Some experts speak instead of the ability to bind and loose lives.

This second hypothesis comes to fruition when we learn that very often, the Valknut was used at the same time as representations of Odin.

Powerful god of magic and occult forces, we know of him in particular that he governs reincarnations.

From there to seeing the Valknut as a magical tool linked to healing, or even resurrection (physical or spiritual), there is only one step... which we happily take!

And you, what do you think ? Could this leather bracelet decorated with the Valknut be right for you?
