Oh well, is the Triskel that old?
Eh yes !
The Triskelion is actually one of the most used symbols in Celtic art.
In France, we know it as an emblem of Brittany, but also of our Gallic ancestors.
The Triskel, however, is much older than that. Archaeologists have in fact found traces dating from the Neolithic, at least six millennia ago!
Despite its association with Celtic culture, this lucky symbol is therefore older.
This gives it great strength, yes, but also a certain complexity : finding its original meaning is a complicated task to say the least.
Thanks to the ancestral traditions that have come down to us, today we can offer you two avenues for reflection.
The first arises from the movement of the Triskele. Its spirals rotate in the same infinite momentum, a bit like they were trying to move from the center outwards.
We can see this as a sign of a living energy that moves forward without ever stopping.
Another way to understand the message of this stylized Triskelion amulet is to look at its Trinitarian side : our symbol has three branches and, in the culture of the ancients, this was necessarily loaded with meaning.
For them, everything could in fact be divided into three distinct parts (the world, humans, etc.).
In short, wearing this lucky amulet promises to reconnect us with the spirituality of our ancestors... with a resolutely modern and contemporary style!
